About the Founder

Dr. Syed Mohammad Ali Rizvi is the founder of Dr. Abdul Kalam Foundation, who lives in Lucknow and a native of Zaidpur District Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh. He is an Asstt. Professor in Faculty of Commerce & Management, Nodal Officer, Proctor & Coordinator ( Scholarship Committee) Unity Post Graduate & Law College, Lucknow. He received B.B.A., M.Com., M.B.A., M.Phil., D.I.T., Ph.D. Degree and M.T.P. from Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow.

Before beginning his academic career, Dr. Rizvi worked in Tata AIG Life Insurance Co. Ltd., Lucknow and Carnaby Co. Ltd. (MNC) Dubai, U.A.E. Dr. Rizvi also has served as an academic consultant to several business schools, business and nonprofit organizations.
During his academic career, Dr. Rizvi has dozens of articles and research papers. He received more than 40 awards from District to International level, U.P. Government, Central Government, Akhil Bhartiya Vidhyarthi Parishad, Antarrashtriya Gayatri Parivar (Haridwar) and some other reputed organizations. Dr. Rizvi is Ex. National President of Bhartiya Kranti Morcha. He is the best orator, Business Planner, Life Member of Commerce and Management Research Association and International Journal, Ex. Member of Indian Red Cross and Ex. Young Scientist. He is vice President of Centre for Advanced Studies and Research Society, Lucknow. He has guided several students into completing their projects and business plan.
Dr. Rizvi belongs to blue blooded family of Hazrat Syed Abdullah Zarbaqsh (R.A.). He is in 42 generation of Prophet Hazrat Mohammad Mustafa (S.A.), 41 generation of First Imam Hazrat Ali Murtaza (A.S.) and 40 generation of Hazrat Imam Husain A.S. (Greatest Martyr of the Universe).
Dr. Rizvi has been in teaching and industry from 15 years and has taught Principles of Management, Computer Fundamental, Managerial Economics, Indian Value System, Research Methodology, Business Environment, Retail Management, Entrepreneurship, Company Law, Marketing of Services, Sales and Distribution Management, Marketing Practice & Finance, Information Management, Retail & Rural Marketing  and Islamic Studies. He is an author of Marketing of Services.
He has attended various National, International Seminars and Conferences and has presented papers them. He has presided technical session in International Seminar. Dr. Rizvi Attended many workshops, symposium and FDP’s, He is approved faculty by the University of Lucknow and his college is affiliated to University of Lucknow, recognized by the UGC and Certified by the NAAC.
